Now that the Weinstein 2006 Conference is behind us we would like to extend our appreciation to all of the attendees for the outstanding science that was brought to this meeting. The new ideas and interactions at the conference energize all of us when we get back to our own labs and our research. The attendance at this meeting was 286. Abstract numbers reached over 175. The Weinstein Conference brought attendees from almost all continents and has become truly international. As in the past, we wish that we had more time for interactions and for the poster sessions. The new Friday evening poster session with wine and beverages was well attended and gave us an additional opportunity to catch up with posters not seen in the morning sessions. It also provided time to meet friends and colleagues as walks along the beach gave us time to relax. It was an enjoyable meeting certainly for the organizers. We appreciate your telling us that you also enjoyed the meeting. Thank you!
